What is your fitness background?
I’ve always enjoyed an active lifestyle so I participated in just about any sport that looked fun over the years. It all started with ballet when I was 4 years old. I dabbled in soccer, basketball, gymnastics and a little cheerleading prior to high school. In high school, I found that track (sprints, of course!) and dance were a good fit for me. I continued to run when I was in college just to stay in shape, but actually began to enjoy running so I kept working on more distance. To supplement my runs, I began doing Insanity and T-25…then I found CrossFit!

What is your least favorite WOD?
15.3…but only because I couldn’t do RX at the time.
What is your favorite lift?
Handstand push-ups! And I must admit….I love to clean!

How long ago did you get into CrossFit?
What were your thoughts after your first CrossFit workout?
I remember thinking that I finally found something that I could see myself doing for many years that provides me with challenges, yet is fun and exciting!
What advice do you have to any newcomers to CrossFit?
Stick with it! The progress and results you see are amazing! Spend time learning the fundamentals and you’ll be amazed at what your body is capable of doing. Most importantly, have fun becoming the most fit you’ve ever been!
