What is your fitness background?
I have been a high school and college athlete participating in Diving and Cheerleading primarily. I played/participated in just about every sport under the sun and still like to participate in anything I can. Having been a college D1 athlete with a scholarship I never thought I would be in better shape than I was in college. I am 39 yrs old and can lift more than I could when I was 25, and can workout harder and handle more volume. I wish I had this when I was in college, I would have been such a better athlete than I was!

What were your thoughts after your first CrossFit workout?
After I was able to scrape myself off the floor and could actually breathe I thought “this is an amazing workout, why have I not heard of this before!?”
What advice do you have to any newcomers to CrossFit?
Be patient and stick with it, once you learn the fundamentals it gets so much better learning what you are capable of doing. The results you will see will not compare to anything you’ve ever done before.
