What is your fitness background?
I started getting into fitness seriously when I was in the military. I was a Navy Corpsman attached to the Marine Corps. Part of my job there was to train the people who failed their physical fitness tests or were overweight, and get them to get back into regulations. After that I began personal training friends and family back home. Now I am a certified personal trainer and I am going to be getting Crossfit certified shortly.
What is your favorite WOD?
I am not sure if I have a favorite WOD. I just love any WOD that pushes me to my limits.
What is your least favorite WOD?
My least favorite WOD was 15.2.
What is your favorite lift?
Muscle Up
What is your least favorite movement?
Double Unders
How long ago did you get into CrossFit?
3 years ago, but seriously got into it in November 2014
What were your thoughts after your first CrossFit workout?
I enjoyed my first Crossfit workout and enjoyed the sense of competition it gives me.
What advice do you have to any newcomers to CrossFit?
My advice to someone new to Crossfit is to not get discouraged. You may not have the proper form right away or be able to do the weight you want to, but if you stick with it the changes will come and you will become a better and more fit you.
